$1.00 Family Movies in Albuquerque

Kids will be home for the summer soon, and it is time to find them something to do in the summer.  Entertainment that is cheap and fun for the whole family can be hard to find, but thanks to two movie theaters in Albuquerque this challenge just became a little easier.   Two mornings every week there will be $1.00 movies that are rated either G or PG for the entire family.

Who doesn’t love taking the kids to see a movie? Here’s another way to watch movies on the cheap, thanks to Regal Entertainment’s Summer Movie Express Family Film Festival 2012 with tickets at $1 each!

In Albuquerque the movies start on June 5th, 2012 and run every Tuesday and Wednesday at 10 am for nine weeks, showing G and PG rated movies for a dollar a ticket.  The Summer Movie Express Family Film Festival

The Summer Movie Express Family Film Festival has two participating Regal cinemas in Albuquerque: the Four Hills 10 and Cottonwood Stadium 16.

Just pick up the $1 movie tickets at the box office window the morning of the show. Of course, seating is limited, based on the theatre’s capacity, and tickets are first-come, first-served.

Plan to stand in line for tickets, but it’s probably well worth the effort. And you can spend your saved dollars on popcorn! A portion of the $1 ticket fee will be donated to the Will Rogers Institute.
The Four Hills 10 is located at 13120A Central SE. The Cottonwood Mall Stadium 16 is at 10000 Coors Blvd NW .
